How long we keep your information

The Social Care Community Partnership Ltd, which operates The Nursing Partnership as a specialist trading name, keeps personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or to meet applicable legal obligations.

The period depends on the type of information and our relationship with you. For example, information about an unsuccessful application is considered separately from records needed to manage an ongoing working relationship. Pay, tax, pension and working-time records are subject to their own requirements. We also consider relevant contractual obligations and the need to deal with complaints, regulatory enquiries or legal claims.

We assess health and criminal-record information separately. We aim to keep only the information needed for the relevant check or decision, with access restricted to those who need it. We may need to preserve particular records while a complaint, investigation or legal matter is ongoing.

When information is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or anonymised. Some information may remain in restricted backups until those backups are securely replaced under the relevant backup arrangements.

You can ask how these criteria apply to your information, or request deletion, by emailing privacy@tsccp.co.uk. We will consider your request and explain if there is a lawful reason why particular information needs to be retained. Our privacy notice explains how we use and share personal information and the rights available to you.
